The talented young forward will formally complete his move to England this summer after he turns 18. In 2024, Estevao enjoyed a stellar season with Palmeiras, scoring 13 goals and laying on nine assists in 31 appearances as the club finished second in the Brazilian league behind Botafogo.

Ahead of completing his much-hyped transfer to the Premier League, Palmeiras chief Pereira hailed the teenager as a spectacular talent and assured the Blues that he will "shine" in Europe and become one of the best players in the world . The Brazilian side have a reputation for producing quality talent and have exported players like Endrick and Vitor Reis to Europe.

Speaking to , Pereira said: "Estevao is a spectacle of a player. Already ready for the Premier League? It’s up to Chelsea to say but, one day, he will be voted the best player in the world. He’s a spectacular kid and he’s going to shine in Europe."
