Florian Plettenberg has reported that Bayern are focusing on a deal to sign Dier after seeing Genoa defender Dragusin opt to move to Tottenham instead of Germany, despite a late attempt from the Bundesliga giants to hijack Spurs' deal. The club have already reached an agreement with the English centre-back but must now negotiate a fee, which is likely to be in the region of €4 million.

Dier has essentially been jettisoned under the management of Ange Postecoglou and has made just four Premier League appearances for Spurs this season. He played eight minutes against Bournemouth in their most recent league outing, but the signing of Dragusin has only pushed him further down the pecking order, and he could now reunite with Kane at the Allianz Arena.
DID YOU KNOW?
Spurs have reportedly struck an agreement with Genoa to sign Dragusin in a deal worth over €30m (£26m/$33m) and have also sent Djed Spence the other way. The Serie A club have taken the right-back on loan including an option to buy worth around €10m (£9m/$11m).
