The reigning Premier League champions have endured a difficult 2024-25 campaign thus far. They have lost seven out of their first 24 league matches and have conceded 35 goals as they find themselves fifth in the table as things stand. Despite their poor form, Guardiola believes that City are still doing well compared to other giants like Manchester United, who are not even among the top 10.

Speaking to reporters, the Spanish coach said: "Maybe we'll finish 14th-15th but we are fifth, we are not dropping like other teams that had success in the past."
